A cantora, compositora e atriz Emma Roberts confirmou na tarde de hoje, 7 de outubro, que participará da sequência do filme americano de thriller Nerve. Na primeira parte da franquia, Emma atuou como Vee DeMarco, uma garota comum prestes a sair do ensino médio e ir para a faculdade. Após uma discussão com sua amiga Sydney, atuada por Emily Meade, ela resolve provar que tem atitude e decide se inscrever no Nerve, um jogo online onde as pessoas precisam executar tarefas ordenadas pelos próprios participantes.
O Nerve é dividido entre observadores e jogadores, sendo que os primeiros decidem as tarefas a serem realizadas e os demais as executam e ganham prêmios em dinheiro ou desistem e perdem tudo que ganharam no jogo. Logo em seu primeiro desafio, Vee conhece Ian, representado por Dave Franco, um jogador de passado obscuro. Juntos, eles logo caem nas graças dos observadores, que passam a enviar cada vez mais tarefas para o casal em potencial, até os desafios começam a ficar perigosos demais.
Na sequência, como já revelado pelos diretores Henry Joost e Ariel Schulman, a coisa vai ficar bem “Black Mirror”, com as consequências dos jogadores se espelhando no modo como eles se comportam na realidade mundana. Além de continuar no papel da protagonista, Emma irá cantar a música que serve de trilha sonora ao filme, sem título definido até o momento.
Esse é o segundo single de Roberts nesse ano – o outro sendo também trilha sonora, dessa vez de Cinquenta Tons Mais Escuros. Shape of You, aliás, foi o primeiro hit número um da cantora nos Estados Unidos. Rainha das trilhas sonoras, né, mores?
Nerve 2 estreia em março de 2018, e a trilha sonora deverá sair até dezembro segundo rumores. Mas a pergunta que não quer calar é: cadê o álbum, Emma?
